NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the City of South Bend city council at South Bend City Hall located at 1102 West First Street on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at 5:45pm.

The purpose of the public hearing is to review community development and housing needs, inform citizens of the availability of funds and eligible uses of the state Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and receive comments on proposed activities, particularly from lower income persons.

Up to $1 million may be available to the City of South Bend on a statewide competitive basis to fund public facility, community facility, economic development, planning and affordable housing projects that principally benefit low- and moderate-income persons.

An outline of the proposed City of South Bend Raw Water Impoundment Improvement Project will be available for review at South Bend City Hall after May 13, 2015 between 8:00am and 4:00pm.

The South Bend City Hall is handicap accessible. Arrangements to reasonably accommodate special needs, including handicap accessibility or interpreter, will be made upon receiving twenty-four (24) hour advance notice.  An interpreter will be available.
